A sentence is plenty to start with. Nothing below is compulsory except a way to reach you — though an address, a rough size, and whether you are replacing an existing deck or starting from nothing will all make the call more useful when it comes.
What happens after you send it
The form goes to a builder, not a queue. Expect a call inside one business day. Taking it commits you to nothing, and no one turns up at the property unless you invite them.
What the call covers
Whatever you want it to. These are the five that usually need settling:
- What you want, and a realistic range for it
- Whether your parcel sits in the wildfire overlay, and what that changes about decking material
- Whether you need a permit, and what Regional Building will charge for it
- Guidance through the permitting process itself, if you want it
- Where you would land in the build calendar

Four of them. The first three are produced by a person rather than returned by a calculator, and they come back within 1–2 business days.
- Wildfire zone & permit report — whether your parcel sits inside the city’s wildfire overlay, whether you need a permit, and what it will cost.
- Cost estimate — your project priced against what actually gets built here and reviewed before it goes out.
- See it on your house — send a few phone photos of your elevation and see the deck on it.
- Request a call — the same short form as above, if you would rather start there.
