What you give us
When you send a form we collect your name, email address, phone number, the property address, and what you want built. Some forms ask for more detail — size, materials, height off the ground, how you want to use the space. On the deck visualizer you also send photographs of your property.
The wildfire overlay check is different. It asks for an address and nothing else. We keep the address so we know which parts of the city are asking. There is no name attached to it and no way for us to contact you from it.
What we collect automatically
Which page you arrived from, your browser type, and the country you are in. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, and to give a licensed builder enough to quote the work without having to ask you everything twice.
Who sees it
Us, and the licensed local builder who performs the work. Passing your details to that builder is the point of sending the form.
Our website and data are hosted on Cloudflare, and our phone number is operated by Twilio. Addresses entered into the wildfire check are sent to the City of Colorado Springs’ public map service to get your answer.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone else.
Your photographs
Photographs you send are stored privately. They are not published, not put on the website, and not shown to anyone other than the builder quoting your project.
If you call us
When you call the number on this site we keep the number you called from, the time of the call, and any voicemail you leave. The recording is stored privately and heard only by us and the licensed builder quoting your project. If you would rather not be recorded, hang up at the greeting and use the form instead — we will still see that you called, but nothing you say is kept.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it.
Getting your information removed
Email contact@coloradospringsdeckbuilders.com and ask. Tell us the address you used and we will delete what we hold and confirm when it is done.
